These are some pictures of a costume I made in 2008. It is made almost entirely from Metro Cards from the New York subway. I collected a lot of the cards myself but was helped enormously by a man who cleaned out the bins where the cards go and he gave me a big bag of them.

The piece was part of a wearable art competition at Shearwater in Australia and won a prize.
At the time I made it I was living in NYC and felt really caught up in a kind of narrow (track like) existence. This is what came out of that.
